The 50223 steel locker features Lyon’s patent pending nano roller latching system. The nano metal roller technology provides increased protection against break-ins. The tamper-resistant nylon lockbar guide also ensures a smooth operation and reduces overall noise.
Lyon laps and welds door frame corners of the school locker for a strong and rigid assembly. The frame includes 6 inch high legs to provide toe room below the locker door. For extra strength, we also construct the locker door from one piece of 16 gauge steel. Single tier lockers with recessed handles can easily be made to be ADA compliant simply by adding Locker Shelves at the correct heights. Each 1 tier locker includes one shelf, one coat rod, as well as three single prong hooks.
The 50223 steel locker includes recessed handles that can hold a user provided padlock. All of our gym lockers with recessed handles can be fitted with a Zephyr 1930 Combination Lock. If you prefer a built-in key lock, you can also fit these Lyon lockers with a Flat Key Lock that comes with 2 keys.
