The Tri-Dek 15/40 filter has a flat panel construction and can outperform a pleat. It outlives a high capacity pleated filter by 75%, resulting in nearly twice the service life. The filter media is also resistant to moisture and microbial growth, unlike cardboard framed pleated filters. The soft nature of the filter material around the perimeter of the filter also creates a better seal in your air return to ensure no dust bypasses the filter.

This filter has a MERV 8 rating, which means it can effectively remove contaminants such as pollen, dust mites, and mold spores. It is also made with 29% post-consumer recycled content and offers LEED credits for MERV 8 efficiency.
