Cabot Waterproofing with surface protector is an advanced-technology, water-based silicone coating. This one-of-a-kind formulation is designed to provide unsurpassed waterproofing protection to a multitude of surfaces by coating the pores of the substrate with silicone. Environmentally safe for VOC restricted areas. Apply to new or properly reconditioned wood including siding, shingles, decks, patios, walkways, shakes, fences, roofs, chimneys, and log homes. In addition, it is ideal for protecting indoor and outdoor concrete basement walls and floors, stone, masonry, and brick from absorption of water. Available in Crystal Clear plus 3 transoxide tones for added depth and UV protection. Apply liberally and evenly by nylon or synthetic brush, roller, low-pressure sprayer, or by dipping. Approximate coverage: 150 sq. ft. per gallon, varies by substrate. This product cannot be topcoated. Exterior surfaces must weather 1 year before topcoating.
